Michelle Nakaya began Ginniberries as a personal chef in 1996.  Her clients hosted many dinner and cocktail parties and this is where the coconut wireless buzz began. For a solid ten years, her business has been simply “word of mouth”.
Ginniberries grew rapidly from a personal chef business to a full service catering company acquiring a reputation for creative and contemporary presentation, along with the wide variety of food flavors .  “You can’t live without the classics, but we also like to bring in food trends that haven’t  yet touched the sands of the islands, all the while keeping things healthy, fresh and local”.
“Michelle will meet with the clients to plan each event from start to finish. Often being the first to arrive on site and the last to leave, she makes sure all the details have been taken care of.”
